Kayla Larsen

Physical Therapist

About Kayla

Kayla has always had a passion for health and fitness, and found a purpose in promoting holistic health and well-being to others.

It's a familiar story in our profession: after tearing her ACL and working with an amazing physiotherapist throughout her rehabilitation, Kayla was herself inspired to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.

Post-graduation, Kayla studied and trained with leading experts in topics of human potential, personal growth, and mindset to further her understanding of health, well-being, and life.

Inspiring others to greatness

As a physiotherapist, Kayla’s goal is to positively inspire others to improve their health, fitness, and quality of life. Rather than only mending a specific issue, her aim is to promote health and well-being across a person’s life span.

“The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great at whatever they want to do.” – Kobe Bryant.

Kayla also believes that effective treatment is preventive medicine, and effective treatment includes education and empowerment to create a healthier future.

Practising holistic health

Kayla believes that preventive medicine starts with empowering our next generations with effective holistic education. She has taught and worked with many students, athletes, and individuals to teach them the power of their mind, visualization tools, and success principles.

She incorporates the use of the medicine wheel into her practice by addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of an individual’s health.

Kayla's clinical areas of interest include: helping people with diverse abilities and neurological conditions improve function; working with post-operative knee conditions; and providing relief for people experiencing headaches or neck pain.

In addition to health and wellness, Kayla loves spending time in nature, crafting, studying, letter writing, travelling, and being with her family. Kayla is also very passionate about upholding the Truth and Reconciliation Act and working towards better health care.
